Capcom vs SNK 2 heading to PSN!

The criminally underrated Capcom crossover fighter Capcom vs.SNK 2 is soon to be available on Psn for  lucky Playstation gamers. The 2001 crossover title which pits Capcom characters against Playmore characters, originally created a name for itself in the arcades and was ported soon after to classic console systems like the Dreamcast, Playstation 2, Gamecube and Xbox.

Now Psn users can dive right into the action and experience the thrill with a whopping 48 characters at their disposal from each company's respective franchises including Street fighter, King of Fighters and Darkstalkers just to name a few. No price tag for the classic fighter has been revealed as of yet but it shouldn't break your wallet. Unfortunately this seems to be a straight port, so don't expect Online play or High definition graphics.

  1. I had this for the PS2 and it was a blast, I even managed to set up a semi-tournament with many friends who aren't even fans of fighting games!. So yeah, this game is a lot of fun.

  2. I just hope it has online. I might consider this. I like playing fighting games. Pity I suck so much at them.

    1. Well MvC2 had an HD re-release a year before MvC3 announcement, it could be possible

  6. I still have my PS2 copy from 2001. I got it for 20 bucks. The only thing that might make this worth buying for the FGC is if it supports fight sticks. Otherwise it's going to be a pixelated mess on modern televisions.
