The Last of Us holds first place in UK Charts for 5th week

Naughty dog's Apocalyptic epidemic The Last of Us survives yet another week in the UK charts fighting back a horde of other major franchises to hold onto the number one spot for five consecutive weeks running.   And that's not surprising once you experience the survival horror at first hand.

  1. That is an impressive hold for a new IP. Best thing is, it deserves it.

Only GTA 5 will take it's place, guaranteed.

  4. It'll probably have stiff competition from GTA V.
An honestly, as a FUN gaming experience I might enjoy GTA V more.

  8. unbelievable. it's rare that Ps3 games have this sort of sales power. they often succeed in quality, but don't get what they deserve when it comes to sales. I'm so happy for naughty dog. they're the developers of the generation and have raised the bar with every effort.

Well deserved and great sales for a new IP. That said, there have been no big new releases for a while now and nothing much else until the end of August, so I expect it'll hang on there for quite a while.
