Banjo-Kazooie Composer developing soundtrack For Castle of Illusion HD

Banjo-Kazooie's sound composer is going to be behind the upcoming Sega classic's Castle of Illusion bgm. Grant Kirkhope is most considerably known for his work on Nintendo 64 all star titles, Banjo Kazooie, Golden eye, Perfect dark and Donkey Kong 64, but now the composer gets to work on the Sega HD remake.

The original Castle of Illusion had some memorable, fun yet simple background music which added to the quality of game-play, so fingers crossed the magic isn't lost. From great sound tracks like Banjo-Kazooie to Donkey Kong 64 most will agree the upbeat and jolly soundtrack were essential to each game's success so hopefully he can make the translation over to Castle of Illusion and capture the original feel of 90's game music.

  1. I loved the Banjo Kazooie jingles. Also, if you compare it with the Donkey Kong 64 music, they sound so similar. I really hope they make a new Banjo Kazooie if they get the band back together
