Metal Gear Solid: The Legacy Collection, It's official

No you didn't read wrong, Konami strike again with yet another HD collection on the horizon exclusively for the PlayStation 3, set for release in June, heading to the shores of North and South America.

The collection will include
  • Metal Gear Solid, Metal Gear Solid 2: HD Edition
  • Metal Gear Solid 3: HD Edition
  • Original MSX versions of Metal Gear and Metal Gear 2
  • Metal Gear Solid: Peace Walker HD Edition
  • Metal Gear Solid: VR Missions
  • Metal Gear Solid: Trophy Edition.
  • Two digital graphic novels created by Ashley wood.

Tomoyuki Tsuboi, the president of Konami, states, "We wanted to give Metal Gear Solid fans the opportunity to experience the series from beginning to end, all on one console."

Tomoyuki wants Metal gear Solid fans to experience the series from the beginning to the end, yet it's only on one console? Nonetheless this isn't a bad deal for people who skipped the HD collection or someone who hasn't touched the series.

Fans who already bought the MGS HD and MGS 4 limited edition may feel otherwise unless it includes the Nintendo exclusive Metal Gear Solid Twin snakes. Another nice feature to the collection would also be Metal Gear Online, fingers crossed. Fans could argue Konami is just milking the franchise beyond belief but new comers will definitely get their money's worth.
